It was hard to know when to schedule this experimental blog post, because Spring is such a relative term for so many people.
Some of you are still recovering from freezing cold and are holding onto the hope of spring because of a single feeble patch of green in your yard (poor babies!). Some of you are already so embroiled (emphasis on broil) in summer that Spring is already long gone.
A blogging break in April helped me decide, and anyway, May seemed like a happy medium to post this Spring Aesthetic.
I’m not going to try to explain it, just read it already! 😉

So far this Spring, I’ve gone swinging, sipped coffee at Panera, I’m going to plant some flowers very soon. I’ve eaten Spring cupcakes and veggie and cheese quesadillas, drank a caramel frappuccino, and I’ve watched You’ve Got Mail.
I’m going to have to boogie if I’m going to squeeze more Spring aesthetic into this month. 😛
Anyway, TELL ME YOUR VERDICT. Do you want me to do it for all four seasons or just pretend this never happened? *Force wipes*

Only thing on the list I’ve done is plant flowers, which were promptly devoured by snails…I get spring points for trying, right??

I’ve already got an art festival scheduled, something I do every year with my grandparents, I love it. And I’m thinking about renting or even buying some Cary Grant movies I can’t seem to borrow or (ethically) find for free. I need to throw in some nature related things to do.

I love all the funny ones he’s in; Bringing Up Baby and Monkey Business are my current favorites. I want to get Holiday and The Bachelor and the Bobby Soxer (which I learned about from one of gifs on your last post). I also want to see Operation Petticoat (I’m thinking that one is more risque like I Was a Male War Bride which while hilarious isn’t for everyone).
I am ashamed to say that while I’ve know ABOUT all these Cary Grant movies the only one I’ve seen is Holiday! #oops I need to amend that. HAHA – I LOVED that gif. 😛
I thiinnnk I MIGHT have watched Operation Petticoat a long time ago? *ponders* My favorite Cary Grant comedies are Arsenic and Old Lace and Father Goose! Arsenic and Old Lace is very bizarre – but hilarious! Father Goose is not a typical role for him, but he does it brilliantly and it’s one of the most unique (and undefinable) movies I’ve ever seen!

I am also reading a magazine on Robert F Kennedy.I am watching The Irish Tenors in concert on DVDs. I taking care of my front lawn. I mowed the lawn and weeded a little with help form my sister.

In Spring I like to get outside and enjoy the warmth before it gets humid and especially before the mosquitoes come. (We’re officially past the beginning of mosquito season now. Humidity is still off and on.) ALL THE DOG WALKING MUST HAPPEN. Helping my mom plant stuff is a must too. I planted an almond tree last weekend kind of unintentionally. It actually planted itself in the backyard, da crazy puppy declared it an invader because it sprouted so fast, so I had to move it to the front yard and there it hopefully will grow. (No idea where the nut that sprouted came from. Maybe a bird dropped it?) And of course one must sit on the front porch and read/write. 🙂
