*BLASTS INTO YOUR INBOX LIKE AN INCOMING MISSILE*
Just a VERY teensy post today, guys because, man, I just cannot get on top of my schedule and I am just SCRAMBLING.
(and that nutshell for February and March is coming, I promise!)
So, I’m just going to come right out and confirm what you already saw in the title of this blog post –
YES, I am releasing a new installment for my Tales of Ambia series.
I should be jumping up and down screaming with excitement but with everything going on right now it’s more like –
Okay, I’m a LITTLE excited – in a very weary sort of way.
Anyway, I was wondering if you would be willing to help a tired author out and spread the word about this upcoming release!
Want to hear more? WELL, GO AHEAD AND SCROLL, THEN.
BLURB AND COVER
Princess Poppy doesn’t feel very royal, and she certainly doesn’t feel ready to marry. But when her father decides that a marriage to a foreign duke would benefit their small kingdom, Poppy obeys.
Stepping into an unknown world full of hidden dangers, Poppy must navigate betrayals she never anticipated and discover the inherent royalty and strength within her own heart.
A companion novelette to A Royal Masquerade.
Just so you know, this is more like a CONTINUATION or prequel of one of my previous releases, but it is based off of The Goose Girl fairy tale.
This novelette is the backstory for one of the characters in A Royal Masquerade and, because it’s more of a tie-in to my two previous books, the release is much more low-key. But, I still need to let my fans know I’ve published something!
Ahem. Yeah.
That’s why I need YOUR help.
If you would be willing to help me spread the word about this release, I’d be so grateful!
Here’s how it would work!
You would be sent the following information:
1) A pretty graphic featuring the cover of Poppy’s Peril.
2) The link to Amazon so that your followers can buy said book (if they want).
3) A book blurb and a one sentence “pitch” – with an option to use either the blurb or the pitch to entice your followers – whichever works for the platform you are sharing on.
To be part of this release, all you would have to do is the share a graphic, the Amazon link, and a brief description of the novelette on a certain weekend – and that’s it!
If you want to join the release team just click on the LINK RIGHT HERE and fill out the questionnaire (it’s short, I promise)! And THAT’S IT. ARE YOU IN?
And, since we’re in the click on the link mood, don’t forget to add Poppy’s Peril to your GOODREADS SHELF RIGHT HERE.
So are you excited?? What do you think of the cover? Have you read A Royal Masquerade yet? (if not, I am literally begging you to read that before you read Poppy’s Peril, otherwise you’ll ruin your life and mine).
Hope to talk to you next week, my friends. Until then . . .
AHHHHHH!!! I literally screamed out loud when I saw the cover here for the first time in public!! *uncontained joy and excitement* I’m so proud of you and your newest book baby!!! 😀 😀
And I’M IN! You know I’ll be your most loyal announcer!
AWWWW, Mary – you’re the BEST! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
.
.
😊❤
Also, I am DYING to share this cover and blurb–and BOOK, and POPPY–with the whole world, so please hurry up, cause I need to shout it to the world and strew Poppy love to the four winds!!!
But I’m very patient, and I’ve been waiting for this book for two years–longer than anyone else, no exaggeration! I’m a master at delayed gratification, and I’d MUCH rather my friends and favorite authors (you’re both!) take the time to make a book the best it can be. So I’m patient!!! I can wait a few more weeks! And I did already read it, so I’m not dying for that (anymore!). XD
But I also just can’t wait, ahhh!!
*SCREAMS AND RUNS IN CIRCLES THROWING CONFETTI* ALLISONNNN! YOU’RE PUBLISHING ANOTHER BOOK. THIS IS A HAPPY DAY!!!!!!!!! I’M SO PROUD OF YOU OH MY GOODNESS.
…Even though I’ve yet to read A Royal Masquerade because I am a TERRIBLE friend and my TBR is eating meeee. *SOBS* But that doesn’t mean I don’t want to SCREAM AT THE WORLD that my Allison is publishing another book! So yes, I signed up and would love to do an IG and twitter post! 😀 😀 😀
And don’t worry, I will DEFINITELY read A Royal Masquerade before this one. I am a stickler for reading things in the perfect order. *nods, nods*
I’M JUST SO PROUD OF YOU!!! EEP. *throws more confetti and glitter and happiness everywhere*
I’m sooo sorry you’re feeling exhausted though. I FEEL YOU. I have just been DRAGGING lately and keep having so much piled up on my plate. Everyone is talking about all this extra time they have and I’m just like HA! A writer never has extra time, ESPECIALLY when they’re stuck at home. XD I do hope you’ll able to get some rest and you and your family are doing well. Been praying for you all! *HUGS*
AHHHHHHHHH. *dancees in confetti* THANK YOU, CHRISTINE!! 😭😍 Oh my goodness, YOU ARE TOO SWEET!
.
Oh pshaw!
.
.
Do you have any idea how much of my TBR pile is made up of the books of my published friends? TOO MANY, THAT’S WHAT. I FEEEEL YOUUU,
.
Ahhhh, thank you SO MUCH. You have made my day, Christine! <3
.
.
Oh my gosh, I know what you mean! WHAT EXTRA TIME ARE THESE CITIZENS SPEAKING OF?? WHERE IS IT, WHERE?? 😂
.
And, AHHHH, thank you SO MUCH for your prayers, Christine! <3 I can't tell you how grateful I am for them! I'm praying for you too! I'm sorry you've feeling tired and overwhelmed. May God just fill you to bursting with rejuvenation and rest! *soft hugs*
Just popping in to say, Christine, you are an energizing ball of sunshine and cheer, and I have zero extra time, too! In fact, now I have negative time, cause the little time I have is spent calling friends and doing a couple other things to stay sane. 😂😉
